Batterie Basse Beach in Toulon is located between beaches Mourillon and Méjean. You can access it from the free parking lot, Mourillon, then from the coastal path toward Cap Brun. Another solution is to go to the parking lot that allows access to the Fort Cap Brun then take the stairs on the right before the houses (the path is closed on the side of Cap Brun in 2015, due to falling rocks). The last creek is the most accessible with the stairs.

We find several rocks and little zones with little beaches shaded by trees.

These beaches and little creeks are made of stones and gravel. Some zones are frequented by nudists (from the coastal path these are the 3^rd and 4^th creeks, however signs prohibit the practice of nudism).

Taking the coastal path from the Yacht Club, we find this first gravel creek in the shade of pines. The different creeks resemble each other. It is not the most accessible creek.

Some creeks are wider. Shade is appreciated in the summer.

Batterie Basse in Toulon: beaches and coves

We are on the last creek on the coastal path. In the middle of the photo, we can see Cap Brun. This creek is easily accessible from the stairs.

These creeks are very calm and only known to the people of Toulon. In the background we see the Saint Mandrier peninsula and further is Cap Sicié in La Seyne sur Mer.
