Bau Rouges Beach in Carqueiranne is located west of the resort towards Pradet. It is the only nudist beach in Carqueiranne. It is covered in smooth rocks, making it easy to find room for sunbathing. The setting is beautiful with clear water but access is difficult. Stairs are installed but the slope is very steep. The view from the top is amazing.
To reach this beach, the easiest way is to follow the directions of the mining museum of Cap Garonne (possible access by bus - Danio bus stop Line 91 then 1.5 km on foot by the path of Bau Rouge), park in the museum car park and take the path of Bau Rouge (on the left) on 200 meters. Take the path on the right leading inside the subdivision to the stairs leading to the beach.
February 2015: access by stairs prohibited (bylaw). There is a second access further down the road. There are accesses after the houses on the right through the scrubland, which leads to this rocky beach.
