Port de la Rague Beach is one of the most interesting beaches in Mandelieu la Napoule. Located outside of downtown, going toward Theoule sur Mer, this beach is accessible from the Rague harbor.
You can park at the entrance of the harbor on the left, at the top, then take a bridge that passes over train tracks then there is a path with stairs leading across some nice vegetation.
The beach extends over three bays on the east side of the harbor, at the foot of a red rocky hill (typical in the region) and dominated by a magnificent castle. This beach does not have a lifeguard but is very nice since it is far from the route. The first two beaches are wide and made of fine sand. The third is made of stones.
For some calm, this is our favorite beach in town, along with Raguette Beach located about twenty minutes from this one, along the coastal path.
