Our opinion on the Solarium beach
Unusual! At port Hercule in Monaco, a solarium with a beach was created at the dike Rainier III. It is like being in a swimming pool with concrete stepped beaches. The access to the sea is available using ladders. On the other hand, rough seas prohibit swimming and access. This is the private world of the locals who come for lunch and to sunbath. Young people like to go diving. Very low attendance even in summer. It is perfect for those who are looking for peace and quiet.
To reach the beach, take the direction of Port Hercule. You can park in the swimming pool car park then turn right towards the dike. The solarium is hidden behind the dike. It is also possible to park in the fisherman car park then exit at level -3 and turn left before the tunnel. The quay is 100 meters away.

This picture was taken on August 15th, very low attendance… This is not a touristic beach! It is like being in an endless swimming pool.
Off-season, this a meeting point for sunbathing during lunch break.
The young locals like to come here to make dives.
