Our opinion on the Salins Beach

Salins Beach is the furthest from downtown Saint-Tropez, but its our favorite beach! Located on the route des Salins, at 6 km from the center, it is accessible from two roads: by the Moutte park with free parking and a five minute shady walk or by the route des Salins (arrival on a private beach). This white sand beach stretches out over 500 meters in a natural atmosphere. Even in season, we can find a place to lay out our towels. There is an access for those with reduced mobility. On the left of the coastal path, we come upon a small creek which is very calm, overall in the summer.

On the right, taking the coastal path, we meet up with the beaches of Ramatuelle (Tahiti Beach) but the route is a bit long.

We are in the middle of the Salins Beach of Saint-Tropez. Great atmosphere with a view of the point of La Moutte (where we also find a beautiful beach).

The left part (visible in the photo) is totally public. On the right we find a restaurant and a private beach.

Here, we can see the beach from the chemin des Salins (parking along the road, difficult to find a place in the summer). The beach largely a private zone in the area.

For more tranquility, we find a small creek on the left near Emile Olliver's tomb (political figure and author of “l'Empire libéral” (Liberal Empire)) accessible from the coastal path in just a few minutes. If we continue on this path toward the left we join La Moutte Beach.
