A 5-minute walk from La Moutte beach, a small confidential cove is worth a visit... but let's keep it a secret! Next to Emile Ollivier's tomb (Napoleon III's minister, he acquired the neighboring estate and had the castle built, which was only accessible by sea), there is a small sandy cove (quite coarse) with shade and bordered by a very dense scrubland. And yes, we are on the French Riviera... there are still some well-preserved places.
Unlike the neighboring beach, the seagrass does not wash up on the beach (the orientation is slightly different). However, the seabed quickly becomes rocky (this is the only disadvantage of this cove - just remember to bring swimming shoes). The rocks on the side allow for diving (don't forget your mask).
Coming here is immediately adopting it! You feel like you're alone in the world... while you're in one of the most famous seaside resorts in France.
The easiest way to get to this cove is to park at the Salins beach car park. On the latter, take the customs path that starts on the left (stairs).
