Our opinion on the Sablettes beach
Sablettes beach in Mentonis located between two ports (the Old Port and Garavan port), along Bonaparte Quay and the old town.
Covered in very fine gravel on about 350 metres, this is; in our opinion, the most beautiful beach in Menton. It has a beautiful view of the Italian mountains and the coloured houses of Menton.
This beach is monitored during summer (aid station next to the private beaches). There is also a volleyball court. It is perfect for children, with gentle sloping swimming; we are able to touch the bottom very far.
A paid car park is available next to the beach (Gordon Bennet pier).

We can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the old town of Menton from this beach.
As we can see on this picture (person on the right), swimming is gently sloping. We can touch the bottom very far in this protected bay.
