Jean Mermoz Beach is the main beach of Villers sur Mer. It is located near Place Mermoz (junction of Avenue de la Republique and Rue Foch) and extends along the Promenade de l’Europe (near the Casino de Villers). It is supervised in the summer season. The Villers spa centre has a swimming pool and the possibility to rent beach huts. The beach is equipped for people with reduced mobility with a tiralo. On the left, you can reach the top of the Black Cows cliffs.
Note that the Greenwich Meridian is located on this beach (eastern end of the Promenade de l’Europe – indicated by a sign).
To get to this beach from Auberville, follow the D513 (Dives road) that leads you directly on the Avenue de la Republique of Villers (waterfront). Please note, there is a fee for parking in the summer (July and August).
Dogs are not allowed on the beach from April 1 to October 1.
