Located on both sides of the Neiz Vran peninsula (literally the "crow's nest") and the islet at its tip, the Pors an Tonnou (or Neiz Vran) coves of Kerlouan are very exposed to the west, a little calmer to the northeast as two rocky promontories delicately enclose a small circular anchorage area. It is indeed on this side that boats anchor. Everywhere there are small beaches of pure sand where one gladly plants their parasol for an hour or an afternoon away from the world. Rare quality sand, dunes, eroded rocks are natural shields from the wind and prying eyes.
