There is a nice small red pebble creek 5 minutes from Poussai port, which is little known and mostly frequented by regulars. It is very narrow but the setting is enchanting with a view of Ile d’Or (also called the Island of Tintin). The walls of the Esterel jut into the sea, which protects it from waves and wind. However, one must arrive early in the morning to have space.
This cove is accessible by the trails of Dramont but it is hard to find in it this labyrinth. We followed the coastline to the left from Poussai port. There is a small pebble beach adjoining the port (without interest as swimming is forbidden because it is located at the entrance of the harbour). One must cross it and follow the path along the sea (do not take the stairs). The top of the cove is 5 minutes away. One can go down by the rocks (sort of natural staircase but slightly sporty). One can park on Semaphore Boulevard along the road.
