Our opinion on the Maupas Calanque
200 metres before arriving in Trayas from Cannes, Maupas Calanque offers a red pebble beach. A car park is available along the road (easily identifiable, there is, as landmark, a blue "Relais des Calanques” billboard). This beach is also accessible by bus, Maupas Cove stopping area. The stairs to access this beach are hidden in vegetation behind wooden barriers.
This small cove has a beautiful environment but it is advisable to wear shoes to swim. The red rock of the Esterel is beautiful. You will also find on our website a list of the coves in the Esterel.
