Our opinion on the Creneau Naturel Beach
Narbonne’s beach of “Créneau Naturel” is to the west of the resort. On the right, a beautiful view of the beaches of Gruissan and of the Pyrénées in the background, and on the left of Narbonne-Plage.
This beach is supervised during the summer season (lifeguard station n°4 at the water park).
Note that you can practice sand yachting on the beach which is rare in the south of France and in the Mediterranean, the sport is more common on the beaches of northern France.
This is the most unspoilt beach of Narbonne. It extends over 1.6 km.
To go to this beach, take the D332 towards Gruissan and head towards the water park. There is free parking near the camping-car area of “Créneau Naturel”.
Note dogs are allowed on the beach.

It is the largest beach of Narbonne. In the distance, we can see the beginning of the centre of Narbonne-Plage.
From this beach of Narbonne, we can see the dam that separates Narbonne from Gruissan with, behind, the beach of Ayguades Gruissan.
Although this beach is unspoilt, there is a lifeguard station open during the summer season.
On the west-edge of the beach of Narbonne, there is a water park and numerous activities.
You can practice sand yachting on this beach.
