Our opinion on the Capitol Beach
Capitol Beach is located near Port-Fréjus (east) on Boulevard d’Alger. This beach is accessible to disabled people and has toilets and showers. It is monitored in summer.
This beach near the center of Fréjus-Plage and Port-Fréjus is ideally geographically positioned. There are amenities, several restaurants and snack bars nearby, and a private beach with mattress rentals. A nautical center also rent dinghies. However, the nearby road means that families prefer the beaches of the nature base, more secure even if they are further away from amenities.

This is the end of Boulevard d’Alger at Port-Fréjus (as seen in this photo). The seaside resort of Saint Aygulf and its beautiful coves are in the mountains.
The first private beaches of Fréjus are on the left. The view over St. Raphael and the Esterel is also beautiful.
There are public beaches towards Saint Raphael between the various private beaches.
