Our opinion on the Port Cove
The Port Cove is located in the Sofitel, a few steps away from the Maquis Hotel. There are on this small sandy beach many rocks, some sand and a small harbour on the left. The value of this beach is very limited in our opinion; it is only interesting for people living next-door and able to come on foot.
From the centre of Ajaccio, take the D55 towards Olmeto. The Point is located 2 km after Viva Beach (indicated by panels – there are also directions for the Sofitel). Take this road and turn left after 400 meters (Punta alley). The beach is at the end of this road. Please note that parking is regulated. Another solution is to access this cove through South Point Beach and then turn right.

This is another small cove in the Point of Porticcio near the Sofitel.
There is a small port on the left. There are many rocks and the sand is mixed with gravel.
On the left, the view of the beach next to the Maquis Hotel and the small coves is beautiful.
Continuing northerly to the tip of Porticcio, there is a new small cove with a beautiful view of the tower and Isolella peninsula.
