Our opinion on the Cala Medea
Pietrosella Medea Beach (or Cala Medea) is located south of the peninsula of Isolella. It extends for about 300 meters and consists of pink sand. The environment is very nice and very quiet. It is not very crowded because this beach is little known. Note that there is a slipway for boats on the south side of the beach (in the summer season, there is also a boat rental company and it is possible to practice rowing).
To get to this beach from Porticcio, take D55 towards Coti-Chiavari. At the roundabout, take the first right towards Isolella. After 200 meters, we find on the right a large car park on the beach side.
