Our opinion on the Capitello Beach
Capitello Beach in Porticcio is located north of Viva Beach at the Genoese tower of Capitella and the pond of Casavone. The part in the car park and the hut is family-oriented. One can easily reach the centre of Ajaccio by the beach southward. To the north, from the tower, there are some small coves where naturism is practiced (it even continues after up to the airport of Ajaccio). Attendance reasonable even in summer.
To get to this beach from Ajaccio, follow the direction of Porticcio by the N196. At the junction for Porticcio, follow the D55 for 2.5 km then turn right (signs for hut and hotels - in front of a bus shelter). Follow the road for 700 meters to the seafront where there is a car park.

From the Genoese tower, there are some small coves where naturists come to enjoy the sun (this is a nudist beach up to Ricanto Beach at the airport).
The small resort of Porticcio and Viva Beach can be reached southward.
This beach is easily accessible with a car park. There is also a hut.
