Our opinion on the Kelenn Beach
The beach of Kelenn is not the longest beach of Carantec, but it is the most active. Relatively close to the town center, it is equipped with a lot of sports equipment used in the year : nautical center, sports fields, playgrounds, skatepark etc. It is also a beach where you can eat, be lodged (4 star hotel nearby). It is especially a beach of fine sand doubled of a pleasant walk and the environment preserved. To come there, it is very well indicated from the center of Carantec. You will have the choice between three large campsites. This beach is also the starting point for excursions to the Taureau castle.

All the beaches of Carantec are not as easily accessible. Here, there is enough space to park and enough beach to lie down.
Nice terraces also to recover.
Two holds enclose the beach, allowing easy access to water boats but also access for the disabled. The jetty also serves of pier torwards the Taureau castle.
It is a very popular beach for windsurfers…
…and a kitesurf area. On the horizon, Ricard island (not to be confused with the island in the south of France of Paul Ricard, the Embiez).
A promenade serves bars and restaurants.
At mid-beach, cabins as before, but recent.
And the important nautical center. Navigate here is very trainer because of the relief of the coasts.
The youngest have a reserved playground.
A little bigger have a real skatepark.
Or more sports fields.
