Our opinion on the Cran aux Oeufs Beach

Cran aux Oeufs Beachin Audinghen is one of the most secret beaches in northern France. This hard place to get to is located near Cap Gris Nez (one can reach it through the path of the Douaniers). Regulars and the inhabitants of the small nearby hamlet frequent it, and a very steep trail created by the passage of the bravest in the jagged cliff leads to it. Once in this cove, one has the impression of being alone in the world in a totally wild place where waves end up on the pebbles.

This beach is only for athletes (not suitable for children). One must wear sneakers (impossible to come with a cooler).

The surroundings are very nice with trails offering beautiful views.

To get to this beach from Audresselles, take the D940 and the D191 towards Cap Gris Nez and Horecaps. At the hamlet of Waringzelle, turn left (a sign indicates Waringzelle 1 and 2). One gets to the road of Cran aux Œufs (a sign indicates that the road is in the wrong way 400 meters away, park in the car park just before). On foot, follow the road passing through the small hamlet of Cran aux Œufs and turn right (about 700 meters on foot).
