Our opinion on the Chatelet Beach
Chatelet Beach in Tardinghen offers one of the best views of Capes Blanc and Gris on Côte d’Opale. It is a huge sand playground, which stretches several kilometres between Audinghen and Wissant, a sure way to find space in peace. However, one must be careful because swimming is not monitored. Along the beach, beautiful dunes complete this dream landscape. This beach is also a popular place off-season to go for a stroll. It is our best pick in Nord Pas de Calais!
To get to this beach from Wimereux, go towards Wissant by the D940. Turn left upon arrival in Tardinghen, just before the town hall. The beach car park is about 2 km away (no entry for campers, limited height 2.1 meters)

There is a small truck at the car park where one can enjoy fries, Liege waffles and a local beer.
