Our opinion on the Pianicci Beach
Between the beautiful beaches of Canella and Favone, we find Pianicci Beach in the commune of Solenzara. Made up of stones, this long beach was totally forgotten due to its two neighbors. Relatively narrow but spacious, it is mostly frequented by locals looking for tranquility and who desire to get away from the more touristic beaches. To us, this beach is not interesting. We can find much better in Corsica …
To get here from Favone, follow N198 toward Solenzara for 2.3 kilometers. You can park along the route on the right. The beach is located below the route – look at our last photo.

Photos of the Pianicci Beach
Located in to the south of Canella, the environment here is totally different. There are stones and some Mediterranean sea grass.
We find a few creeks on the left and behind the pointe is the beautiful cove of Canella and its fine sand.
Access a little bit acrobatic from N198 …
A few hundred meters after the bay of Canella (toward Bonifacio), we find an access to the sea. Look at the photo.
