Our opinion on the Aregno Beach
Aregno Beach is the largest beach of the seaside resort of Algajola. It is sandy on 1.4 km and there are all the necessary tourist facilities (private beaches, restaurants, sailing center...). The northern area of this beach is quieter and unspoilt (there are some small dunes). The area closest to the citadel is very crowded in summer. Note that this beach is supervised in summer.
This beach is accessible from the center of Algajola upwards towards Ile Rousse on the N2197. Turn left and continue along the beach and the railway at the resort exit. There are lots of places to park along the beach.
Note that dogs on leash are allowed.

This large sandy beach stretches to the tip of Varcale.
This beach is very busy in summer (photo taken in late July). In the center, there is a first aid station and several restaurants (as well as private beaches).
From this beach, the view of the seaside resort of Algajola with the citadel and St George's Church is beautiful.
