If you have time, the Pays Country is full of places waiting for you to discover! Along the coast, starting with the towns of Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz that still preserve the memory of luxurious parties they hosted in the 20s. Beautiful homes that face the ocean and local specialties (macaroons, chocolate) will delight all visitors. Why not visit the Church of Saint-Jean where Louis XIV married the Infanta of Spain and admire their beautiful home overlooking the small harbour of the city. The adjacent square is very pleasant during the summer season. Biarritz’ promenade where you will discover the coast from the sumptuous Grand Hotel du Palais, to the Rocher de la Vierge, via the beach of Biarritz from which you can watch the many surfers.
