Our opinion on the Tollare Beach
There is a large wild beach stretching about 200 meters east of the marina of Tollare and the hamlet of Arena (only a few newly renovated homes). This pebble beach in Cap Corse is one of the most beautiful beaches north of the island. The island of La Giraglia is located opposite. Attendance is reasonable even in summer. Swimming is gently sloping.
To get to this beach from the port of Barcaggio, follow the D253 towards Tollare. There is a large car park at the hamlet (also an area for motorhomes). The beach is on the right. It is also accessible by the coastal footpath from Barcaggio.
