Our opinion on the Solidor Beach
Solidor Beach in Saint-Malo is located in the St Servan sur Mer neighborhood (south of the city) across from Dinard and next to the Solidor tower. This little sand beach is found in a harbor and is uniquely recommended for those who wish to tan our kids who want to play in the sand. Swimming does not seem very recommended and overall, doesn't seem agreeable. We find much better beaches in St Malo. A few businesses can be found near the beach and in the little adjacent streets. However, parking is quite difficult in season.

Here we have a general view of Solidor harbor. Across is the park des Corbières. Space for swimming is very limited.
On the right, a nice view of the Solidor tower (constructed to control Rance, now it is a museum).
This beach is reserved for those who want to get a tan. Swimming is not very agreeable here.
To the right of the beach we can join Solidor tower. A nice view of Dinard.
At the edge of this beach we find some parking, but it is difficult in the summer.
To the right are some shops and restaurants.
