Our opinion on the Salins Beach - Pentagon Beach

Salins Beach in Hyères (or Pentagon Beach) is located east of the resort near Vieux Salins and the small harbour of Salins (port of Pothuau). This vast sandy beach stretches to the city of La Londe des Maures along a pleasant pine forest bordered by salt fields. One can reach Pansard de La Londe Beach after 2.5 km. The nearest area to ​​ the port of Pothuau is monitored in summer. This is where the beach is the widest and most family-oriented. The more one moves away from this area, the wilder and the more peaceful the beach becomes. Several beach restaurants with mattress rentals are installed in summer.

Note that there is an area reserved for naturists along the pine forest on 250 meters 500 meters from the port on the left. The Naturist Association of Vieux Salins Beach in Hyères (APNVSH) manages it.

To get to this beach from the port of Hyères, take the seafront road towards Vieux Salins. Go through the village and turn left on rue Saint-Nicolas at the port and take the second right (rue de la Rascasse). A big free car park at the end of the street leads to the beach (and trails leading to the wilder areas towards La Londe).
