Our opinion on the Roussillon Beach
On the right bank of the harbor in Canet, Roussillon Beach is found along the promenade Cote Vermeille near Central Beach. This large sand beach has a lifeguard in the summer and a first-aid station near avenue du Roussillon. Several private beaches can be found here in the summer. We also find a few restaurants on the main road.
You can get here from avenue de la Cote Vermeille, going toward the harbor. There are parking places along the beach, but it is hard to find a spot in the summer. There is also a paying parking lot on the harbor.

From this beach near Canet-Plage, there is a vast stretch of sand that continues for several kilometers toward the beaches of St Cyprien.
To the left, the beach extends to the harbor of Canet.
To the left of the beach is a great view of the entrance to the harbor and of the dam.
On both sides, we find private beaches with restaurants and mattress rentals.
Near this beach are a few shops and restaurants and vacation homes.
