Punta di Spanu Creeks in Lumio - France

Our opinion on the Punta di Spanu Creeks

At the level of Punta di Spanu in Lumio, there are four little creeks of sand who offer remarkable environments. For one of these creeks, we even have the impression of being on a beach of Brittany (thanks to the big rocks in the sea) while enjoying a temperature exceeding 26°C in this end of July. The four are easily accessible. There is a parking at the level of the two first creeks, the two other ones are accessible in less then 10 minutes by a path next to the sea. To our sense, these creeks are among the most beautiful beaches of Upper Corsica. They are less known and especially not referenced by the tourist offices or tourist guides, it is the exclusivity of plages.tv.

To get to these creeks from Lumio, take the N197 in direction of the Marine of Sant Ambrogio. At the entrance of the navy, take left the road going up (there is a sign indicating a supermarket). At the level of the railroad crossing, follow the road on the right along the railway line. The parking is located at about 2kms.
