Our opinion on the Poull Zarab Beach
White and turquoise blue, we take full eyes ! The beach of Poull Zarab located at the south-west of the island of Batz offers not only the advantage of its beauty (sands, waters, rocks…), of its relative isolation but also that of the proximity of a nautical center, of a cafe restaurant and a tropical garden on the other side of the peninsula (200m away). Contemplative solitude and almost immediate proximity. A holiday center adjoins the tropical garden ; some might find in the « peping » of young people at the end of the day a disadvantage, others a soft tweeting…
An enigma remains : why this toponym « Poul Zarab » ? Perhaps in memory of the many workers who helped transform some of the barren dunes from the tip in a tropical paradise, and so a part was of Maghrebian origin ? It is just an assumption.

But also some rocks that preserve the coast, although the storms come from the other side of the island.
From the small access path we notice the admirable green blue of the waters.
The seabeds are flat, no danger for swimming (unsupervised).
Few rare seafarers.
You can go around the island by hoping from cove to cove. It is very pleasant.
What a contrast with the luxuriance of the neighboring tropical garden !
