Our opinion on the Port de Plaisance Beach
Port de Plaisance Beach is located on both sides at the exit of the port of Frontignan.
Access to Rive Ouest Beach is via Vauban Avenue where there are a few parking spaces. This area, located behind the nautical center, is supervised in summer and there is an access for disabled people (with a carpet and the provision of a tiralo). This beach stretches over a kilometre, with small sandy coves along the étang des mouettes in the north. There is also an area for children.
Access to Rive Est Beach is via Avenue des Etangs then by Avenue des Cormorants; there are also several car parks but this area is not monitored. The public sandy beach stretches several kilometres. There is a shower at Impasse des Macreuses.
There is a private beach with a restaurant and mattress rentals in summer on this beach.

This large sandy beach stretches several kilometres behind the port of Frontignan towards Sète (One can see Mont Clair in this photo).
This beach is composed of several coves with, in the background, many small houses and vacation homes.
Access to this beach is via Avenue des étangs (road running behind the harbour).
This is the first cove after the channel access to the port. One can see in this picture the aid station.
