Port-Belloc or Port Bellec Cove in Sauzon - France

This tiny cove close to the port of Sauzon is sheltered from the prevailing winds by the cliff and tamarisk.

One must deserve the access. One must first take route du Cardinal (quite passable) north of Sauzon, then take the one of Port Bellec (ditto), park in the car park next to Cardinal Hotel and finally find that narrow path going down to the creek.

It is not over! A staircase continues on the path. One can stop there. The rocks are not unpleasant...

... Or reach the cove itself by following the rocks. It is a little easier at low tide.

What good would it do to use the cannon-like hoist? The transparency of the water makes no doubt.

This attracts many scuba divers or snorkelers.

There is a cave on the left of the creek. There is anchorage offshore.

Half sand, half pebbles, one can also relax there.

Near Port Bellec there is also a small port, aptly named Port Bihan.
