Along thePinewood of Embiez (northeast part of the island, east of the tip of Canouvié), there are several small beaches and coves covered in sand and gravel. These different bathing places are not very well known (this area of the island is unfrequented) but the beaches are small. However, unlike other beaches, one can find small coves in the shade, which is very appreciable in summer. The view of Brusc is very nice. There is a beautiful pine forest along the creeks, perfect for walking in the shade.

To get to the coves from the port, turn left and walk along the harbour. Turn left at the end and take the trail. At the hotel, follow the path leading to the coast. Follow the trail to the tip of Canouvié. Tracks start from there.

There is a nice bay with a few small sandy and pebbly beaches east of the tip of Canouvié. Fairly well protected, there are a few connoisseurs.

Many small creeks are in the shade (rare enough on the island). It is also possible to picnic in the nearby pine forest.

Proceeding toward the right (along the pine forest towards the neighbouring Ile du Gaou), beaches are narrower. There are some areas where one can put one’s towel down.
