Pereire Beach in Arcachon - France

Péreire Beach is located to the west of downtown near the entrance to the Bassin d'Arcachon. This part of the lake is protected by Cap-Ferret. The beach is bordered by a nice pinewood and is near the town Printemps d'Arcachon.

This photo shows Péreire Beach near the pier Croix des Marins (near the summer town of Arcachon – Allee de la Chapelle – we are also near the town Hiver). At the top, we can see the edge of the downtown beach Arcachon (near rue Francois Legallais).

This first area of Pereire beach is very urban. It is at the level of the city of Printemps (zone along the boulevard of the Ocean).

The beach extends for nearly 2 km. At the Boulevard de la Mer (the limit with the Abatilles beach), the environment changes. A pine grove now borders the beach.

Lawn, pines, fine sand ... one of the most beautiful beaches of the Bassin d'Arcachon.

This beach is one of the most natural and calm beaches in town.

On the right side, you reach the Printemps district with its more urban beach.

On the left side, the Abatilles beach begins.

The pine forest gives a wilder side to this beach.

Access for people with reduced mobility is located at Boulevard de la Mer.
