Our opinion on the Oceane Beach
Soustons’s Océane Beach is between the marine lake of Port d'Albret and Lake Pinsolles. Totally untamed (no nearby building, only a few snack-bars next to the parking), this beach is supervised during the summer season. Crossing the dune is improved by a tarmac path. Some surf schools in the summer season.
To go to this beach from Soustons-Plage, take the Avenue de la Petre then follow the directions “Plages Océan”. When you are at the Lake Pinsolles, take the avenue of the same name and follow the dam. Access to the beach is at the fork (there is a snack-bar and car park is on the left).

Soustons’ main beach extends to the south towards the beaches of Seignosse (several kilometres) in a totally untamed environment. However, only this main access has a lifeguard station.
This Soustons’ beach is popular with surfers.
This beach is easily accessible through an asphalt path (note this is the only easily accessible beach).
