Our opinion on the Moutchic Beach - Lacanau lake
Moutchic Beach in Lacanau is located along Lacanau Lake. This sand beach has a lifeguard in the summer and is labeled as handicap accessible. To the left, we find a relaxing space with lawns, trees and picnic tables. A large parking lot is located along the beach. However, the road is nearby and busy. We find restaurants and snack bars across from the beach. It is also possible to rent paddle boats. This is a nice beach if you have children, because it is secure.
From downtown Lacanau, follow directions for “lac de Lacanau” then Moutchic. The beach is located along the route.

This beach is on the border of Lacanau Lake and offers a nice setting with trees and fine sand.
We have a nice view of the pointe du Tedey where we find a second beach with a lifeguard (La Grande Escoure Beach).
On the left is a large space with grass and trees. Ideal for a picnic.
This beach on Lake Lacanau has a lifeguard in the summer. It is labeled as being handicap accessible.
Along the beach is a large parking lot. Behind the route we can find two restaurants and a snack bar.
