Our opinion on the Marine of Pietracorbara Beach
The beach of the marina of Pietracorbara is one of the few sandy beaches in Cap Corse. Easily accessible from the county road, this long beach stretches about 450 meters. There are several huts directly on the sand. Attendance is very family-oriented. Even in summer (our photos were taken in early August), there is space to put one’s towel down. This is one of our favourite beaches in Cap Corse.
It takes 30 minutes from Bastia to reach this beach. Head north by the D80. The marina of Pietracorbara is 9 km north of Brando. The beach is located in the center of the marina; there are several free car parks directly on the beach.

Located on the way to the tip of Corsica, this beach of Pietracorbara stretches in a vast sandy cove (very rare in Cap Corse).
This is the port entrance of the marina. The environment is pleasant on the mountains of Cap Corse.
Quite unusual in this part of Corsica, there are several huts, snack bars and restaurants along the beach.
The tip of this beach (northbound) is less crowded. However, there is Posidonia (aquatic plant often confused with seaweed).
