Our opinion on the Marenda Beach
Marenda Beach in Canet en Roussillon is part of the beaches in Sud neighborhood. Located near the promenade de la Cote Radieuse, this beach is well equipped with several restaurants and mattress rentals. In the northern zone we find a mini golf course and a children's play area (bordering Grand Large Beach). Across from the beach we find a few restaurants but the neighborhood is mostly residential.
To get here, take the road along the sea (promenade de la Cote Radieuse). There are parking places along the route or you can find a parking lot near the balconies on the seafront.

Here is a view of Marenda beach from south to north. Several vacation residences are found on the seaboard.
We are across from the lifeguard station.
A nice view of the Pyrenees (in March) from this beach. Along this beach we find a nice pedestrian promenade.
Parking is difficult in this residential zone made up mostly of vacation homes. We find a paying parking lot across from the beach.
