Our opinion on the Madrague Cove
Madrague Beach is at the end of avenue du General Leclerc from Sainte-Maxime, just before arriving at Pointe des Sardinaux. This long beach (but narrow) is mostly covered in sand and offers a nice view of the Sardinaux.
This beach is sought-after by underwater diving enthusiasts, thanks to the presence of rockfish. Note the presence of Posidonia in some areas.
This beach is not supervised.
Dogs are allowed on the beach.

This beach just off Ste Maxime (towards Fréjus) stretches for several hundred meters. It is narrow but still enjoyable in high season.
Madrague Beach offers a beautiful view of Pointe des Sardinaux. Note that there is Posidonia (harmless algae, usually a sign that the quality of the water is good).
You can directly park along the road.
