Our opinion on the Little Beach
Little Beach is located at the port of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie and Josephine tower, and offers a pleasant sandbank facing south. There is a former pond on the right side where one can swim at low tide with a few small coves on the right. Swimming is not supervised and it is quite difficult to park.
To get to this beach from the center of the resort, go to the harbour (north). Turn left at the crossing. The beach is 300 meters away (the lighthouse is a good benchmark).

This small beach in St Gilles is located next to Josephine tower (visible in the photo - it's a lighthouse). It is accessible via steps.
This is the northern part of the beach. One can enjoy the magnificent view from the banks.
There are small coves north.
Swimming is almost impossible at low tide. The view of the harbour is nice.
There is an old pond on the right, where one can swim at low tide in warm water (not supervised).
There are small coves behind the pond (the tide is high here, one can see the shape of the former pond).
