Our opinion on the L’Herbe Beach
In thepretty village of Herbe, on the edge of the Arcachon Bay, there is a sandy beach lined by beautiful cabins. The site is protected and is one of the most beautiful villages of Arcachon. The beach is narrow but extends throughout the village. Please note that swimming is only possible at high tide (gently shelving beach). Ideal for children to play on. There are some on-site restaurants.
During the summer season, parking is very difficult in the village of Herbe. We advise you to park near the bird island roundabout and then take the stairs that go down into the village. The beach is accessible via small alleys between the houses.
