Jenny Beach in Le Porge is one of the most wild beaches in Gironde. Located in the south of Le Porge (attention: this beach is not located in Le Porge-Océan but to the south), next to the nudist center La Jenny, where the environment is completely desertlike. Access to the beach is possible by crossing a forest and a very developed dune massif. The beach is beautiful and extends over several kilometers. The left side is reserved for nudists and the right side is open to everyone. Note that there is a lifeguard in the summer.

To get here from Le Porge, follow directions for Cap-Ferret, then take the route de la Jenny on the right for about seven kilometers. The route is not in very good shape. When you arrive at the beach the nudist area is on the left, continue straight ahead to the fence. The beach is 15 minutes by foot.

There are no businesses/shops etc. in this zone.

Here is a general view of the beach. We are at the top of the dune. In the middle we see the path that leads to the beach.

This beach stretches all the way to Le Porge – several kilometers of sand in a completely wild atmosphere.

For several kilometers to the south, this immense stretch of sand is totally desertlike. It extends to Cap-Ferret. To the left the beach is nudist near the residence La Jenny.

The dunes are immense in this area. Access to this beach is not always easy because we cannot find a true path.

Here we see the trail leading to this beach.

From the summit of the dunes we can see the agreeable environment of this beach. The dunes stretch as far as the eye can see.

The forest stretches as far as we can see. Can we find anything more natural in Gironde?
