Our opinion on the Grande Beach
Grande Beach in Fos sur Mer is located east of Fos, behind the marina and in front of Port de Bouc. This 400 meters sand beach is the largest in the city center. There are some restaurants in the nearest part of the port, near the first aid station. Several free car parks are available (see map) around this beach.
The beach is nice but the environment is very industrial with a view of Port de Bouc and its many refinery towers nearby. This is the Gulf of Fos...

This is the largest sandy beach in the center of Fos sur Mer. On the left, there are a few restaurants along the beach.
From this beach, one can see Port de Bouc, which goes in the direction of the Gulf of Fos.
On this wider view, one can unfortunately see the industrial environment of the Gulf of Fos sur Mer and many towers on fire once again... what a shame...
