Our opinion on the Grand Mathieu Cove
In the Bay of Grand Mathieu in Batz sur Mer, there is a small cove below the road. Composed of rocks, boulders and a small sandbar, it is of no interest for our purposes. In addition, access is quite difficult. On the edge, a path leads along the Côte Sauvage.
To get to this cove from the centre of Batz sur Mer, join the D45, head towards the Pouliguen. On rue du Golf, after the Roche Mathieu restaurant, there are some parking spaces along the roadside on the left. The cove is located below on the right.
