Our opinion on the Girelles Coves
Girelles cove lies in the village of Ghiatone, south of Isolella and north of Ruppione. This little pink sandy cove has the distinction of having a pontoon on the northern side. The coastline in this area is very rocky and the access to the sea is not always easy. However, the environment is very quiet and the cove is not known, ideal for those seeking peace and quiet.
To get to this beach from Ajaccio, follow the direction for Pietrosella. At the roundabout of Isolella, continue on D55 for 350 meters. Access is on the right (“allée des Girelles”).
