There is a nice beach opposite Pradet and Carqueiranne at the entrance to the peninsula of Giens and as an extension of Almanarre Beach. The environment is preserved and the beach is little known and unfrequented... probably because of the lack of car parks. The beach is wide and swimming is gently sloping (one can touch the bottom very far). However, there are no aid station, showers nor sanitary facilities...
To get to this beach, take the Salt road toward Giens (only open in summer, otherwise one has to take the road to Giens) then follow directions to La Madrague on 600 meters. There is a small road at the intersection of the bi-cross track on the right (“no parking” and cottage sign, often a fence with prohibited direction). The beach is at the end.
