Our opinion on the Dunes Beach - Grand Travers
Dunes Beach in Carnon is the easternmost beach in town at the border with La Grande-Motte and Grand Travers Beach. Here, the dune space is very developed and the beach is wide in some areas. There are landscaped paths providing an easy access to the beach. To us, this beach is ideal for those looking for a wild environment.
We find a few parking places along the road next to the pond. The beach-side is reserved for bikes. There are buses that go to the beach.
Note that we find two huts on this beach with mattress rentals.

On this beach bordering La Grande-Motte, the dunes are relatively high. We have a nice width of sand. The environment can be qualified as wild.
We are on the path that leads to this beach. We could think we are on a beach in Landes without having the ocean.
Access to this beach is possible by going through the dunes.
