Our opinion on the Doree Beach
Dorée Beach in Sanary-sur-Mer is the last beach of the seaside resort just before Bandol. It is the largest sandy beach and is supervised in the summer season. The area nearest to Bandol is called Lido Beach. You have a great view of Bandol and the island of Bendor on the right.
This beach is very family-oriented because of its gently shelving beach. It is also very friendly with the possibility to play on the beach without disturbing your neighbours. Please note that this beach is very crowded in the summer season and it is difficult to find a parking space (parking is along the road of Bandol, access by stairs or a ramp).
Note that Grand Vallat Beach in Bandol is located nearby.

There is a private area near the access. There is a restaurant on the sandy beach (the area closest to Sanary). The view of the western part of Sanary is very nice.
This is the end of Dorée Beach in Sanary (part nearest to Bandol). The beach ends at the dam seen in this picture. The island of Bendor is in the background, on the left of the photo (Island of Paul Ricard).
In this area, the road is a little further away (above). In this area, there are private beaches in the summer season.
This is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Sanary sur Mer.
