Our opinion on the Corniche Beach
On the Corniche of Vallières Point, between Royan and St. Georges de Didonne, the narrow crique de la Corniche is among the rare sand beaches of the Corniche... but the canal seems as abandoned as the adjacent restaurant, undoubtedly because of the danger from the cliff. A pity because the place is unusual with its isle of Seagulls and its rocky seafloor which provides for ample shore fishing. At the entrance, a panel indicates that swimming is prohibited and that the cliffs are dangerous... thus, to avoid...

It's a shame to leave such a building with this location in its current state...
At the entrance, this panel indicates that swimming is not allowed and the cliffs are dangerous.
At low tide we see numerous rock formations. Great spot for shore fishing.
