Our opinion on the Comtesse Beach
Comtesse beach of Saint-Quay-Portrieux is one of the great beaches of the seaside resort. It is located between the port of Saint-Quay and the Semaphore. Its left side is delimited by Comtesse island which is accessible at low tide from the beach. The main access of this beach is at the Comtesse avenue where there is free perking and sanitary on the left down the beach. We also find bath cabins on the right.
This beach is monitored in summer. The central area is the most pleasant. Note that this beach is also accessible at low tide.

We are on the left end of Comtesse beach. This area is accessible by stairs (very deep) from the alley of Barbe Brulée (no parking in this area, better use the main access).
We see here the Comtesse island which is accessible at low tide (this is the case on this photo).
We are in the central part of this Comtesse beach. On the left we have the islet.
On the right of this beach, we have the port of Saint-Quay. The view is not very pleasant on this side.
In summer, we find some bath cabins on this beach. We can rent them.
Halfway up the car park and the beach, there is a pleasant walk.
