There is a beach at the nautical center south of the city center of Wimereux. A pleasant seawall promenade borders the area closest to the city center leading to the center of the resort. The beach is sandy in this area and swimming is supervised in summer. The beach is wilder and mainly covered in large pebbles in the south, after the nautical center. It is close to the cliffs of Wimereux and the view of Boulogne sur Mer begins to emerge. However, this area is reserved for water sports; swimming is not allowed. One comes there to enjoy the sun and calm.

Boulevard Alfred Thiriez borders this beach (southern part). Parking spaces are available along the road.

Dogs on leash are allowed on the beach after the nautical center (therefore outside the surveillance area on the pebble beach).

Beach toward nautical center in Wimereux

There is a sandy beach before the nautical center from Wimereux city center. The view of the nearby cliffs is beautiful. One begins to see Boulogne sur Mer.

The beach is wilder in the south, but there are many pebbles. However, this area is reserved for sailing and motor sailing (it is not a swimming area but only a place to sunbath in peace). The GR120 on the beachfront leads to the pointe de la Crèche and Boulogne sur Mer.
