Our opinion on the Centenaire Beach
Centenaire Beach is located across from Albert 1st Garden, between the Rhul casino and the Quai des Etats-Unis, just before Paillon River. It is the only beach downtown and near Old Nice that is handicap accessible. The other is located near the airport – Carras Beach.
This public stone beach also has a private beach (Le Galion) with a bar, restaurant and mattress rentals.
This beach is tobacco-free and there is a lifeguard in the summer.

This is the first non-smoking beach in Nice. Located next to Old Nice, it is also handicap accessible.
In the summer this beach is rather crowded.
